There was a robbery case this morning at Ogolonto area of Ikorodu, Lagos. According to the eye witness the robbery took place at Zenith Bank and First Bank at Ebute Ipakodo just very close to Dangote Group's office in Ikorodu. Learnt there is Police station close to the robbery scene.
Reports claimed that Nigerian police exchanged gunfire with the robbers, though no life was lost but few that sustained injuries have been rushed to the hospital. While the robbery was going on Guarantee Trust Bank near by sent out all customers and locked their staff inside.
The robbers made away with unspecified amount of money and left through the lagoon.More photos of the robbery scene after the cut.
