Really don,t know where this happened but from Pulse.ng it was reported that  two police men were seen beating a driver for not stopping at the exact spot where he was asked to stop. these photos were shared on Facebook by the eye witness who identified himself as Jake Chukwu.  Chukwu said as the driver was approaching, the police men waved at him to stop but apparently not wanting to stop at the middle of the road , he tried to pull by the road side.

  But the police now thinking that man wants to run away. this made one of the officers to jump on the driver's bonnet and the driver drove off with him on it.One of the police now gave the driver a hot chase and intercepted him, the two police men dragged the driver down and gave him the beating of his life. see more photos.

OMG! Female Student Of DELSU Commits Sucides After being Jilted By Her Lover Of 7years

A female student of Delta State University, Abraka identified as Evelyn Mogekwe, aged 26, allegedly committed suicide after being jilted by her  lover of 7 years, from the story , Evelyn was in her very cheerful mood in her hostel,  suddenly her mood changed after she answered a call from a man whom was believed to be her lover, who called to end their relationship of seven years.

 She was said to have bought some drugs claiming that she was  having headache and went into her room leaving a note for her room mate, saying that they might not see again.

Few minutes later her room mate who sensed danger rushed into the room and found her  body lying on the floor, immediately she raised alarm which attracted other students but before help could come she has already given up the ghost.

Confirming her death , the state police Public Relations officer, DSP Celestina Kalu, said police recovered particles of drugs beside the deceased.

Man Who Left SUV To Have It Washed,Comes Back To Me It Crashed

This happened in Abuja, a man took his car to a roadside car wash for it to be washed and left, all for him to come back to pick his car and met it crashed.

From the source,During  business hour the car wash attendants  learnt that  men of the Environmental  Task Force was coming  to the area on one of their usual raids on Thursdays. quickly one of the worker at the roadside car wash jumped into the SUV to drive it so that the men of task dosent seize the car because it belongs to their customer.but unfortunately what happened  next was unexpected. Instead of moving the vehicle ,the inexperience  driver lost control and crashed it on a fence.

The House of Representative was today Thursday 25th June,2015 thrown into disarray when legislator engaged  in free -for all over leadership positions.
The trouble started when the speaker,Yakubu Dogara named the nominees for principal positions in the House.the legislators loyal to Dogara was said to have clashed with those loyal to All Progressive Congress (APC)  which had written to the speaker telling him who to choose.

Robbers Attacked Two Banks At Ogolonto ,Ikorodu

 There was a robbery case this morning at Ogolonto area of Ikorodu, Lagos.  According to the eye witness the robbery took place at Zenith Bank and First Bank at Ebute Ipakodo just very close to Dangote  Group's office in Ikorodu.  Learnt there is  Police station close to the robbery scene.

Reports claimed that Nigerian police  exchanged gunfire with the robbers, though no life was lost but few that sustained injuries have been rushed to the hospital. While the robbery was going on Guarantee Trust Bank near by sent out all customers and locked their staff inside.

Buhari Holds Closed -Door Meeting With APC Governors

The president had a closed door meeting with all the APC governors. The meeting was said to have taken place by 11 pm on Tuesday.June 23rd, 2015, at the new Banquet all of the presidential villa, Abuja.
The meeting was organised to trash the crisis in the party concerning the  choice of National Assembly Leaders among other things, according to leadership. Problem started in the party when the senate president Bukola Saraki  and the House Representative Speaker defied the party to contest and win the positions.

The party have chosen senator Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gdbajabiamila to occupy the posts in a straw poll.
Their resolution is yet to be known as at press time.

Ex - Kogi State Governor Dies At 69

The former Military Administrator of Kogi State ,Bzigu Akakirya has passed on at the age of 69.
A family member ,Peter Lassa said he died in Abuja hospital on Monday ,June 22nd 2015.

The deceased was born in Borno State on  July 20,1949 and was the Military and was Administrator of Kogi from 1996 - 1998.

He is survived by a wife and children
Kogi State governor  Idris Wada, in a condolence message described Akakirya's death  a sad one for the State and the entire country.

Buhari: Nigeria's Treasury Is Empty

President Buhari has just said that he inherited  virtually an empty treasury from Goodluck Jonathan's administration, the president also said that  the country had inured debt running into hundreds of millions of Dollars.

President Buhari made the comments on Monday ,June 22nd during a meeting with members of the State House Press Corps.

"I hope we are starting and this culture developed,of 100 days is bringing so much pressure with treasure virtually empty.with debts in millions of dollars, with state worker even federal workers not paid their salaries, its such a disgrace to Nigeria" says Buhari.

" I think Nigeria should be in position to even pay  its workers. This bad management that we find ourselves in, we really need your help to protect us from people before they march on us," he added

Odianosen Okojie, popular Nigerian actress, Mercy Johson Okojie's husband says he does not watch his wife's extreme movies.In an interview with the entertainer he  gave reason why he is not keeping up with his wife's movies. His words; "No ,that is because i don't really have time to watch Nollywood movies i  rather watch the news and little bit of soccer whenever my busy schedule permits me" He said.

In the interview , Mercy Johnson said she stopped taking romantic roles when their relationship started getting serious in 2009 because her husband is not comfortable with them."He wasn't comfortable with romantic scenes, i stopped taking up such roles in 2009 when i realized we were getting serious and headed for marriage. Don't know how true this story is but learnt it happened in Ebonyi State over the weekend. Onyma Orji was forced to officially marry his dead ex-wife so that he could claim her children from her family.
Learnt it  in Nwakpu community in Ikwo Local government area of the state, according to reports it's necessary because Orji had divorced the woman known as blessing and she left with their children and got married to another man, after she died from a brief illness, Orji visited the family with some items for her burial ceremony and to take home his children, but was told by her family that for him to claim the children he had to perform the traditional marriage rites on the late Blessing since he has not performed the rites when they were married and to also enable him claim his children.

Orji had no choice than to agree to the conditions, so he can take his children home.

OMG! Jungle Justice Being Meted Out On A Thief

A young who broke into a packed vehicle to steal items from it would have been dead by now if not for divine intervention , the angry mob were bent  setting  him ablaze but he was saved by a passing police patrol team,

According to the story , the young man and a partner who managed to escape,had broken into a Toyota Highlander SUV at a street off the popular Allen Avenue in Ikeja, Lagos. But luck ran out them as they were caught by the residents, but one of the thieves managed to escape and the unfortunate was beaten to black and blue ,tires were hung around him in preparation to being burnt alive  but his date with death was postponed by the police that rescued and whisked him away.

Ambode Declares 2nd Lekki - Epe ExpressWay Toll Free

Lagos State Goverenor Ambode Akinwumi  has declared that no toll will be collected at the second point on the Lekki- Epe ExpressWay. Ambode also assured that his government would be one of continuity with improvement. The Governor made the comment on Sunday ,21, 2015. during interactive session with journalist at the Banquet Hall of Lagos House, Ikeja  a statement by his media aide. Habib Aruna said.
It reads:

" We must start thinking of the future concerning that road, we said we will have international Airport in Epe, and Export processing zone in Lekki and a Deep Seaport  also in Lekki"

should we not start thinking about how we will improve and create 10- lane road  between  Ikorodu ,Itoikin, Epe and Ijebu Ode so that people can go out from the there. There is no point constructing the road, paying tolls and in five years the road is gone.

As more means of transportation come on board, the more than 600,000 private car owners and 120.000 motorcycles that are being out on the road in the state on a daily basis will reduce in number
