The 25 ,year old Oluwaseun Oladapo, who is also facing trila for the murder of Fadipe's mother -in law, Mrs Cecilia Owolabi.
Oluwaseun , a carpenter who resides at 24, Osho street Panseke, Abeokuta is currently facing a five -count charge of murder, armed robbery and assault before justice oluwatoyin Ipaye. Mrs Idowu Alakija,Directorate of Public Prosecution has alleged that Oluwasun committed the said offence on July 4th ,2015 at Fadipe's residence 1 Harmony Estate ,Ifako Ijaiye, Iju area of Lagos.
According to Oluwatoyin, Oladapo who was armed with a kitchen knife forcefully gained entrance into Fadipe's house to rob when fadipe and family in a bid to struggle with the accused who is also know as 'Spider man' stabbed Fadipe and some of his family members including his son, Folahanmi and his mother in-law,Cecilia Owolabi. Toyin said Fadipe sustained numerous injuries while his mother in- law was stabbed on the chest. The injuries later led to their deaths.
Alikija said the accused offence contravened sections 171,221 and 295 (2)(a) of the criminal laws of Lagos State 2011.
It was stated that after the charges were read to the accused, Alakija made request to the court that the trial should start immediately.
Justice Ipaye was said to have adjourned the case till 17th and 18th August for the prosecution to open its case.
