Buhari Approves N713.7bn For Workers Salaries.

A report have it that the President have approved N713.7bn package ti aid in payment of workers salaries across the country.The sum will be utilized as a three- step relief package to ensure that the owned wages are paid.



"In bid to put to end the lingering crisis of the unpaid workers salaries especially in many states.President Buhari has approved a comprehensive relief package designed to save the situation.
"Specifically, president has okay-ed three-pronged relief package that will end the workers plight. The packages that have been approved by the government is expected to go into effect this week as the president is said to have directed that the release of the fund should be made as soon as possible to assuage the plight of the Nigerian workers in the state and federal governmments
The three steps are :

1.The sharing of about $2.1b (413.7bn) in fresh allocation between the states and federal government, the money is sourced from the LNG proceeds from the federation accounts and its released okay-ed by the president.:

2.A Cetrla Bank packaged a special intervention fund that will offer financing to the states ranging from N250bn to N300bn. This would be a soft loan available to the states to access for the purpose of paying backlog salaries:

3.And a debt relief program propsed by the Debt Management Office,DMO.Which will help states restrructrure their commercial loans
