Court Decides Dec 17, For Ruling On Biafra Leader, Nnamdi Kanu's Bail

Federal High Court Abuja on Monday fixed Dec 17th to grant bail application to the detained  leader of the indegenious people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
NAN- News Agency of Nigeria  have reported  that Mr.  who have been in detention for 90 days is also the Director of Pro- Biafra Pirate radio.

Counsel to Nnamdi, Mr Vincent Obeta have approached the court to grant his client bail.He also said that State Security Service have abused court process by refusing  to honor the bail of a Magistrate Court in Abuja,

Mr Obeta filed a Fundamental Human Rights suit against the SSS saying that Kanu's Liberty was  being trampled upon.

'My Lord, Kanu has spent exactly 90 days in detention today.This act contravenes the constitution and the African Charter on Human Rights."

"We have indeed perfected the bail condition as directed by Magistrate Court but to no avail.

" The lower Court had also ordered that Kanu be transferred to Kuje prison but the authority have refused to heed to the order of the court. That is why we have approached this superior court for justice"
