Due to the rising cases of Rape and other sexual assault. Lagos State Government has put in place a toll free emergency line -112. The State government on Sunday urged citizens to make use this line to report any case of sexual harassment. The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team's coordinator (DSVRT), Mrs Titilola Vivour-Adenyi spoke at a programme to finalize the training of 190 officials of the State Emergency Command and Control Center.
other cases related to domestic violence could also be reported through this line . Mrs Vivour also said that they trained officials on how to receive sexual and gender base violence.
Lagos State government to make that such victims have a voice in the state.She also urged memebers of the society who have cases to report, that utmost confidentiality is guaranteed.
